We were the first table of the night (obviously)- and I was worried that the restaurant would lack atmosphere... not at all. This place is cosy and atmospheric. Cool tunes and low lighting. Food was really tasty. We shared the starter platter, which gives you a little bit of all the starters to try, and then I had Nasi Goreng, cooked to perfection. Desserts are included- self serve ice cream cones with a selection of sauces! Will definitely be back.

Great cheap and cheerful place loved the rustic decor. We weren't sure if our booking would still be honoured as we were a few minutes late. but they were fine which was great, our waitress was very friendly and explained how you order and pay for your food upfront and it's brought to your table, it's definitely a first for us but it worked well we didn't have to wait long for our food we all got the sharing platters and were not disappointed the satay sauce was delicious. Our mains of Singapore noodles and sweet and sour chicken kyote special yaki udon and taki Niki we very tasty and full of flavour. Portion size was great and all the food was brought out together which was fine we didn't mind atal. Plenty of water was brought out and topped up with without having to ask service was top notch They't have a desert menu as such but have an ice cream machine and 3 sauces strawberry chocolate and toffee. so we all finished off with free ice cream ,some of us had more than one ice cream lol I won't mention names you know who you are

I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner at Kyoto Asian Street Eats. The Goma glazed chicken was out of the world! The ambiance could be improved a bit without needing to stray away from the rusty theme it currently has. The service was decent and we didn't have to wait long for orders. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to eat decent asian food at reasonable price in Dublin.

Nice place. The only problem - there was no sushi. And that's a bit strange as from Asian restaurant you expect sushi, specially if they are on all the advertisement pictures of the place. But yeah,.. they don't have sushi on weekends, keep it in mind. I ordered duck, it was not too bad, but a bit dry from sides. Service was great, - very friendly waiters, food arrived fast, portions were big. The place is clean and cozy.

It was my 2nd time going to kyoto. But I was really disappointed that when I went there last saturday that the sushi was not available cause we really went there for the sushi. It would have been nice to have been informed about it and I would have went to another place that day. Regardless the rest of the food we had was nice.

Went here for dinner with two friends. The service was great, we were really well looked after. It is BYOB which we hadn’t seen advertised anywhere but noticed on the way in. They kept our wine in the fridge and topped up our drinks as if we had bought them there. The food was good quality and the servings were big. Really good value for such nice food. Will definitely be back.

We arrived a little before 7 pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant was very busy. We were given the menu which was very extensive. The food we chose was truly amazing and plentiful. Wine starts at €21. We got a bottle of Italian wine which was very good for €22. We had a starter and a main course and were more than happy with the food but were a little disappointed that we weren't offered the free ice cream.

We will certainly return again.

Service was great. Food was ready in few minutes, reasonably priced and taste good. Staff was kind enough to let us in 30mins before the reservation time. Enjoyed our dinner.

It was our first time at Kyoto. We were a family of 4 and was promptly seated at our reserved table.
First impressions: Very cool decor with a mix of long tables and benches as well as high chairs and tables.
We were given menus and told to order our food at the counter and pay in advance which was a bit of a surprise.
Next comes the food: The food came out incredibly fast! Not even 5 min later and our order was on our table! We ordered quite a few dishes too so it was impressive! We ordered 4 mains:
The grilled salmon salad: 5 stars. Best salad my sister's ever had, she says.
Yaki udon: 3 stars. Noodles. It was nice but very garlic-y and salty. I wasn't able to finish it.
Nasi Goreng: 4 stars. Rice dish. Very nice but again the chef was a bit heavy handed on the salt.
Pad thai: 5 stars. Excellent stuff. Great mix of sweet and savory tastes.
We also got the wagyu beef roll, salmon avocado roll and ebi tempura roll.
5 stars. All of the sushi rolls were amazing and well made! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and they didn't skimp on the fillings which is always important :D
To top off an overall great meal, they gave us ice creams which we got to get ourselves from the machine. TBH the ice cream was one of the highlights! Very nice soft scoop that is similar to one you would get from your man from the ice cream van!

Overall, 4 stars. We would definitely come back and order more sushi rolls!

We had a lovely meal in Kyoto last night. They have an extensive menu and are not your average sushi joint. Rustic tables and chairs and chilled lighting. Pay before you eat style. We got 2 sushi dishes (tuna hosomaki & wagu beef) and 3 starters (duck spring rolls, butterfly prawns and chicken gyoza). All were delicious (pictured) particularly the chicken gyoza. The food was fresh, service was good and the staff were very nice. Oh and you get to pull your own free ice cream, which is fun!

this is my first time use First table. we visited Kyoto as group of 4 and we surprised by its taste and service. the restaurant has reserved really nice table for us, I was worry they won't reserve nice table for us due to we have discount on food. we order for starter for share, four main course and four drinks. we liked all the food, especially the sashimi and sushi , really fresh ingredient and well presentable on the plates. the main courses we had Thai food and singapore food, highly recommended singapore noodles and Thai chili beef basil in Wok option. unfortunately the ice cream machine is Out of Order on the day, so we didn't have chance to have any dessert .
as we are work in the IFSC area, we will definitely come back to this restaurant .
