This is a restaurant built on friendship and passion. A feat of culinary excellence that combines Irish hospitality with Italian camaraderie, Osteria Lucio looks forward to welcoming you with open arms.
Housed in a beautiful, stone brick building, Osteria is a vision of rustic beauty. Head inside and you will be wowed by their traditional-cum-contemporary aesthetic which pairs the original brick and iconic domed ceiling with slick, modern furniture and minimalist lighting which affords a real feeling of space and exclusivity. This is faultless Italian gastronomy in a suitably dynamic setting.
The menu is the result of multiple conversations between Michelin-Starred Italian chef Luciano Tona and Irish chef and restaurateur Ross Lewis. Impeccable craftsmanship and know-how have given way to stonebaked sourdough pizzas topped with Italian prosciutto, sausage, salami and Macroom mozzarella. Alongside these staples are the fresh pastas, all swirled and twirled with the likes of Irish wagyu beef, smoked scamorza, clams, scallops and Wicklow venison.
As for secondi, fresh cod is served with beautiful antipasti, free-range chicken is lovingly wrapped in Parma ham and beef rump is nestled amongst spinach, raisins and creamy polenta. Finally, clink your glasses to this irresistible Italian/Irish pairing with a Negroni Lucio or Messina Spritz. This is the very best of two very different nations.
