I love the ambience of Camden Kitchen; it's both casually intimate and elegant. The staff are very welcoming and attentive and service was quick and smooth. You can tell it's a good team. The food was very good; I've been a few times now and I've loved everything I've tried.

We ate in the restaurant on Friday evening. The restaurant is so Beautiful. The staff are very friendly, lovely chilled vibe. The restaurant was fairly busy by the time we were finished with our meal. Last but definitely not least the FOOD! What can I say it was possibly one of the best meals I have ever had. The flavours were something else. I had the roast chicken, my fiancé had the venison. We had a lovely bottle of red wine to complement the meal. We will be back soon.

All of us adored the food. We ordered Duck, pasta, and Steak and I think the best is the pasta. I did not like the duck liver but really loved the pear dessert. I think it is a good French restaurant overall.

So difficult to choose from the menu - everything sounded amazing and it did not disappoint. Service was lovely, I can't wait to go back. Great atmosphere, intimate and relaxed.

Incredible experience from start to finish. As it was Good Friday we rang to confirm booking with the restaurant; just in case, as recommended by first-table mail at 10am.
Call was not immediately answered, however was returned even though we hadn’t left message.
Having been assured all was in order with our booking, we looked forward to a lovely evening, and can say we were not at all disappointed.
9 individual dishes later and not a morsel left on any plate. Special: Seasonal asparagus with mushroom croquettes and watercress pea purée & chestnut mushrooms was divine
Both food and service were exceptional and we look forward to our next visit

Tasty and nice presented dishes. Service was good with very attentive staff. Size of starters is good as well as the mains. My partner tried the chowder and as main the venison with sausages and mash, he didn’t leave anything on the plate so I guess he enjoyed it! I ordered tortellini (2pcs) and had the angus cheek which was very tender and full of flavor although to my taste the wine reduction was a bit strong after eating half of the portion. Overall we had a great evening and would like to come back again to try some other dishes.

All in all we had a really lovely evening. Our waiter was a delight - warm, friendly and attentive but without being intrusive. Unfortunately the waitress on duty that night was quite brusque which was a pity but thankfully we didn’t have a lot of interaction with her. The food really is of a very high standard, both in terms of quality of ingredients and execution. The haddock croquette starter was nice if a little bland, it really needed the sauce to give it any flavour aside from salt but the ham hock on the other hand was really good. The main courses were along the same lines, the fish (cod and shellfish) was well executed but again not much in the way of flavour except for more salt. The free range chicken dish however was a total winner. The pumpkin gnocchi that accompanied it really do deserve to be a main dish in their own right, they were so full of flavour and the perfect texture. With the purée, mushrooms and greens they would have made a stellar dish even without the meat. Deserts were also a mixed bag. The spiced poached pear was so hard that it was impossible to eat with a dessert spoon without it sliding all over the plate and the walnut ice cream was a strangely dry, crumbly texture and somewhat bitter. The chocolate fondant on the other hand was delicious and perfectly cooked and the Baileys icecream was just perfection. With great bread, lovely wine (served at the perfect temperature) and a nice, buzzy but cosy dining room this place was a winner.

Loved the room, good vibe. Service could’ve been better, we felt a bit neglected and had to get up to get our side dish. Menu was interesting and would be enough to bring us back again. The food was pretty good, shame the beef cheek lacked seasoning.

Honestly a lovely experience. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the food was great and the house red was deep and warm. The venison was perfectly cooked. Only possible criticism was that there were very few starter options for someone with a shellfish allergy, but that would be nitpicking. Very enjoyable experience.

The food at Camden Kitchen is wonderful, especially the duck leg. Good presentation and an even better taste. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to enjoy quality food.

However, the service was below our expectations. Upon arriving, we were sat at a small uncomfortable table next to the coffee machine although the restaurant was entirely empty with the explanation that "our regular customers will be coming in later". We tried to request a better table by the window but we were told that the table is reserved in one hour. More than two hours later, when we were leaving, the table was still free.
Although the waiter's service was good, the host was less than friendly.

As food specialists who go out of their way to sample the best meals and restaurants in Dublin, we were disappointed with the treatment. I will miss the incredible duck leg.

Really enjoyable meal. Recommend the duck leg - an incredible plate of food - and also the coffee Panna Cotta which was very tasty.
