Gather the gang at one of Dublin’s most humming spots for modern Irish tapas and punchy cocktails.

Take your seat in a smart, industrial setting that’s characterised by exposed brickwork and striking contemporary art installations. There are several floors to choose from, including a rooftop bar and alfresco terrace.

Celebrated chef Dylan McGrath is committed to supporting Irish producers and creating simple dishes that allow the quality of the ingredients to shine.

The excellent value two-course menu is seasonal but might include the likes of mushroom ravioli followed by rare breed pork chops with crackling, or pumpkin and chestnut flatbread rounded off with pavlova.

A well-curated cocktail menu is inspired by some of Dublin’s most infamous characters from the early 20th century, from madam Dolly Fawcett to chemist Harry Mushatt.

Suave, stylish and with a dash of fun, Fade St Social remains a firm Dublin favourite.

We really enjoyed Fade street gastro bar. We heard of it through first table. The food was amazing. We shared a few of their dishes, the favourite was the soft shell crab. The atmosphere was really nice, we were the first people there but the restaurant started to fill up quite quickly after we had arrived. Would definitely recommend

Went to Fade Street Social last night with my boyfriend and we had an absolutely amazing time. I had been in the restaurant a few years back to celebrate my 18th birthday and always wanted to go back.
We were served by lots of really friendly staff who put a lot of effort into ensuring that we were comfortable, happy with the food and well informed about the menu options and drinks lists. Myself and my boyfriend went for lots of fabulous tapas dishes including duck spring rolls, parmasian fries, crab, steak to share and black pudding all of which were absolutely devine. We each had a cocktail in the winter garden instead of opting for dessert. I'm a big fan of venues that have nice terraces/smoking areas. All of our drinks were gorgeous and I was delighted to see such a vast selection of wines and cocktails. They also serve my favourite beer which is Hoeegarrden. Very few spots around Dublin have it on offer so I was chuffed to see it available and couldn't say no to a cheeky half pint. All in all, we had a wonderful evening provided by lovely staff in a beautiful venue. I will most certainly be back again in the future!

Really delicious food and great service, nothing negative to say except maybe a better choice of deserts would be great.

Good place, good food. There were only 2 issues: smoke coming from the kitchen and it wasn't clear that the only menu available was tapas. It's a good place to go anyway

Tapas Food - Most dishes were very nice
Lovely Evening

Food was excellent. It was done in a tapas style and it’s recommended that you get 2-3 each to share. We had two steaks and shared the duck and the pavlova, which was loads of food. We were told we would have our table until 8pm, however we were finished around 7:45.
The first table website states that you need to order 2 dishes and a drink each, but this did not seem to be the case. I asked the host to double check if we needed to order a drink and she said no. Would have been nice to know that this wasn’t the case before we ordered that much food, as it was not all eaten.
Service was also good and overall we had a great time.

Food was tasty but portion sizes are really really awful. If you are a fine dining restaurant, smaller portion sizes are generally expected; but for a Gastro Bar? Glad I tried it but won't be heading back.
