Reviews

as a staple for vegan food in Dublin, Sova made for a great first experience using First Table. Despite being a bit overly keen and arriving 10 minutes before our booking and before dinner service had started, the staff were happy to seat us and cork our wine - it's BYOB which is always welcome! Sova is a located close just off busy Camden St which makes it handy for post-meal drinks, so it was good to get an early table setting us up for the night ahead. Once inside, we realised the menu wasn't the same as that posted online which we had checked before arriving, but after the attentive waiter talked us through the dishes, we were more than satisfied about our options. We didn't have to wait long before receiving our starters of 'samon' mousse and a tofu steak dish. The mains were cauliflower pancakes with ratatouille and 'chicken' tenders, which were even better than the real thing. Meatless 'meat' dishes aren't for everyone but I would recommend Sova for vegans, meat eaters and everyone in between. It's ideal for a fairly relaxed casual dining experience, so the early table times are fine. We'll be back soon to try out the lunch menu!

I have been to Sova many times before but used First Table for the first time. I knew that I was in for a treat anyway, but it begs mentioning again - the food was delicious and the service was great.

We had the King Skallops with beurre blanc sauce and the soup of the day (becautiful rich texture!) The "steak" and torkey were also brilliant, beautifully garnished, and just the right texture. My partner is not vegan, but they thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the cheesecake of the day (coffee,) which again had a lovely consistency and taste.

Of course, I will be back again - this is after all one of my favourite restaurants!

Ok wow I rolled out of this place it was so filling and cost about 16 euro for a 3 course meal and corkage on the wine I nearly had a stroke the deal was so good. For once a restaurant that has variety for vegans. There was so many choices of food I felt like the queen of England
