Your answer to a traditional and cosy eatery in the middle of Temple Bar, O'Shea's is always warm, welcoming and full of mouth-watering pub grub.
Sitting pretty under a quaint canopy, O'Shea's has an unmistakable aura of charm about it. It's been an icon on Anglesea Street for years gone by. Inside it enjoys modern decor with crisp whitewashed walls, contemporary furnishings, and interesting memorabilia every which way you look! And never has a patio looked so inviting; situated under the canopy on the bustling street, it's a brilliant spot all year round.
To say their food is hearty is an understatement! Their delicious selection includes a boisterous Irish stew that's served with a sizeable wedge of homemade brown bread. The slow-cooked lamb is equally comforting, as are the whisky sausages that come with a mountain of creamy mash and oceans of rich gravy.
Their seafood is also worth checking out. The freshest poached salmon battles with scampi, deep-fried cod and garlic prawns for your verdict. Vegetarians can peruse a section dedicated to their lovely selves, the kids can go crazy over the children's menu and all adults will be grateful for a refreshing glug of Guinness!
