Minori Drumcondra

A playful sushi spot that brings to life all the joy of traditional Japanese dining, Minori is its own little world in Drumcondra.

It might look like a very unassuming eatery on the high street but step inside and Minori is Drumcondra's very own little Tokyo. Here, you are invited to dine exactly like they would in Japan: on low-cushioned stools that keep things very informal. Their cosy little dining room is an exceedingly friendly spot graced by countless colourful lanterns and a TV for those who also like a side helping of entertainment.

As the name suggests, the menu doubles down on popular sushi dishes to share between loved ones. The beloved nigiri forms the crux of the menu, serving up delicate pieces of sticky rice topped with grilled tuna, salmon and prawn.

Other dishes include exceedingly fresh sashimi that practically melts in the mouth. Armed with some delicious maki too, all the staples are there to make for a homey Japanese supper that doesn't try too hard.
