Lulu’s is a charming, cosy Italian spot on Aungier Street in Dublin 2, pairing regional dishes with an all-Italian bottle list. There’s even a tiny terrace for intimate gatherings, while the room welcomes everything from casual midday bites to lively evening get-togethers.

Designed for both lunch and dinner, the food menu offers a tempting spread of sharing plates and oven-fired pizza. Think Comté arancini beside seasonal charcuterie with gnocco fritto - Italian fried chicken with caponata - and grilled prawn with chickpea, fennel and chilli.

Pizzas range from a classic Margherita to a punchy nduja, fior di latte and pancetta, followed by a tiramisu doughnut with espresso syrup to sweeten the finish.

Casual yet considered, it’s a space made for lingering: a glass in hand, a plate or two shared, and unhurried conversation. Settle into the snug interior or stake out the terrace, and let the flavours of Italy play out in the heart of Dublin.
