Step into Dillinger's, a shining jewel in Ranelagh's dining crown, where you can eat well, and drink often, and they certainly provide the means to do both with house-made pasta, wood-fired meats, and unbeatable cocktails.

Now more refined, yet retaining its sprightly spirit, Dillinger's serves fresh, local food, quirky cocktails, and eclectic tunes on the vinyl in a setting as warm as the Irish welcome. The newly revamped decor is sure to impress and the cocktails are some of the best in the city.

It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. Embark on your dining journey with the Iberico pork served with a sharp ensemble of broccoli, romesco, and black garlic aioli, it's a true foodie's curtain-raiser. For some maritime merriment, dive into the crudo of bluefin tuna complemented by apple and cucumber, or scallops with peas, pancetta and lemon.

The showstoppers come in the form of the pappardelle, the eight-hour braised beef shin ragu, slow-cooked to perfection, and the cooked over coals selection where you’ll find the 28-day dry-aged USDA striploin paired with sauteed spinach. Other crowd-pleasers include the tender spatchcock chicken accompanied by pressed potato and jus, and vegetarians, fear not, as the king oyster mushroom with beer-battered shimeji, and apple fennel ceviche is an orchestra of flavours that plays a comforting and creative tune.

But it's not curtains yet. Dillinger's offers a swan song to remember with their mixologist's masterpieces. Try the Bellewood, a tantalising cocktail that fuses butter-washed dark rum, with ancho reyes, chocolate bitters, and spice reduction. And for the sweet finish, the caramel bread and butter pudding with custard sing a symphony of decadence that will have you calling for an encore. With Dillinger's, every dining experience is a culinary tale worth telling.
