A glamorous little tapas and wine bar in Ranelagh, The Exchequer enjoys the finer things in life... and you're invited to do the same! A place of upmarket wining, dining and reclining, this is an irresistible fusion of Spanish flavours, Irish ingredients and faultless hospitality.

At the helm is Award Winning Chef José, who has brought with him an incredible breadth of culinary knowledge from his native Spain. And what a stunning place to bring this most joyful of cuisines. Simply put, dining at The Exchequer can be anything you want it to be. Pristine, contemporary and stylish, take your pick of bistro tables, informal booths and quirky bar stools to suit your mood for the evening. Fortunately, wherever you decide to sit, you can marvel the impressive wine library that lines the wall throughout this gorgeous eatery. For those who wish to go alfresco, a roofed patio awaits, complete with spritely plants, fairylights and plenty of blankets should it get chilly.

Now that you're settled, it's time to decorate the table with a range of mesmerising flavours. Keep it exciting varied with a mix of meat, seafood and vegetarian small plates. Get salty with the Spanish chorizo and sourdough, lose yourself in the richness of the slow cooked lamb stew and fight over the last beef and pork meatball. Alongside, make sure to have some traditional white fish stew or fresh Atlantic squid with some patatas bravas and halloumi to make it a proper feast.

Finally, The Exchequer is no stranger to a jazzy cocktail. Their mix of classics and specials keeps them at the top of their mixing game, serving guests anything from Gunpowder Gin to summery Sherberts and Champagne-based tipples. A vision of sophisticated fun, The Exchequer simply must go on your list of must-dos.
